During this time, we want to be sensitive to the needs of the families in The Orchard. Please consider giving generously and joyfully to the benevolent fund. We want to make sure that every family at The Orchard is supported during this intense economic transition. Because of mass layoffs, Serenity House has asked our church to fill in the gap with monetary donations, canned goods, cards, and any leads on job openings.  To give to the benevolent fund, you can use this link. If you are able to donate canned goods, food, and other items, please email one of our Community Leaders - Kim Kuczaj at kmclaughlin74@yahoo.com.

If we can help you pray or if your family needs anything during this, please message us - pastorvito@theorchardupc.com.

Blessings,

The Orchard Pastoral Team

Transforming lives through loving God and loving People.

A man once asked Jesus a question, “What is the most important commandment?”

Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'HEAR, O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD, THE LORD IS ONE. AND YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, WITH ALL YOUR MIND, AND WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH.' This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' There is no other commandment greater than these." Mark 12:29-31

Loving God

Roots Drawing From God's Life Giving Waters

  • Empower people to love God with all their heart, soul, mind and strength.
  • Promote godly disciplines that develop and sustain a close relationship with Jesus Christ.

Loving People

Branches that support
healthy growth

  • Provide an environment that encourages people to love their neighbor as their self.
  • Build personal relationships and strong family units.

Transform Lives

Living a fruitful life that
glorifies Jesus Christ

  • Live as the body of Christ - continuing His ministry of reconciliation (anointed preaching, healing the sick, and proclaiming freedom to all).
  • Develop a passionate, loving community that believes and practices the transforming Gospel of Jesus Christ.

What is an orchard?

An orchard is a cultivated field full of fruit bearing trees. An orchard offers a helpful word picture for the amazing process of transformation and abundant life available through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

When the Spirit is given to us from heaven, deserts will become orchards thick as fertile forests. Isaiah 32:15

How does a desert become an orchard?

This miraculous process begins with the grace and good news of Jesus Christ, our God and Savior. We respond to His offer of eternal life by following His lead and so begin the life-long process of transformation. His Word and His Spirit provide the seed and climate for supernatural growth.
