Transforming lives through loving God and loving People – We are a passionate, loving community that believes and practices that life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ.
Praise and Worship
We are called to love the Lord our God with all our heart, mind, and strength - with our whole person. Praise at The Orchard is vibrant. We lift and clap our hands and sing to the Lord in celebration of who He is and what He has done for us. At The Orchard, we experience dynamic worship services, are edified by the Word of God, and are refreshed by His Spirit. Psalms 150, Psalms 100, Psalms 47:1, John 4:24
Into Ministry is a discussion based training seminar designed to equip budding leaders to operate in their God-given spiritual gifting and callings.
The Word of God
The Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God. To know His Word is to know Jesus Christ. The Orchard is a Bible-based, Spirit-filled fellowship. We're Bible-based in that we seek to base all of our beliefs and our lifestyle on explicit passages from the Bible or on biblical principles rather than creeds and traditions. We believe that Jesus is fully divine and fully human, and we confess Him as Lord and Savior.
We believe everyone should receive a one-on-one Bible study. In addition to the Biblical instruction in our preaching, small groups, Sunday school and individual studies, we covenant to read the Bible through in one year as a church. We endeavor to build “on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone”. Psalms 119:105, 119:130, John 1:14, I Peter 2:2, 2 Peter 1:5-8
Close families are the foundation of community. We set aside one evening a week to be at home with our families. We provide resources for family devotions and activities to strengthen our most important relationships. For single members, we invite you to spend an evening a week with one of our families. Deuteronomy 6:7, Ephesians 6:4
The church is the body of Christ. Each member of the body is uniquely gifted and we all need one another. At The Orchard, we understand the importance of supporting one another and being in regular fellowship. Our monthly potluck meals, weekly small groups, family field trips and community-minded events encourage our church family to flourish. Romans 12:4, 1 Corinthians 12:12-14, Ephesians 4:15-16
Discipleship is the heart of the Christian faith. Our small group Bible studies and Christian education program challenges us to pursue Christ-like character and become vibrant followers of Jesus Christ. Mark 1:17, Luke 9:23
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit brings life, abundance, refreshing, rest, council, righteousness and truth. Receiving God’s Spirit gives birth to the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit in our lives. This includes physical and emotional healing, deliverance from addiction, restoration of relationships, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. At The Orchard we believe in the New Testament baptism of the Holy Spirit experience and desire to follow the Spirit’s leading in accordance with the Word of God. Ezekiel 36:26-27, Joel 2:28-29, Luke 24:49, John 4:10, 7:37-39, Acts 2:4
Prayer is a privilege and an honor; prayer allows us direct, personal and corporate communication with God. Prayer must be at the center of the Christian walk. Excellent personal devotion material is available if desired to assist you with your private prayer time. Early Morning Prayer is open to all from 6-7am on Tuesday mornings and once a month on Wednesday evenings, the church is open for corporate prayer. Psalms 5:3, Psalms 63, Mark 1:35, Ephesians 6:18, I Thessalonians 5:17, I Timothy 2:8
